​Arriving at the San and Departure from the San

*Doctors would test a patient for TB and if the test was positive, patients would be immediately sent to the sanatorium.
*Patients would be dropped off by their family knowing they may not see them ever again.
*Patients would then spend their days at the Sanatorium hoping to get better so they could leave.
*Some people made a slow recovery from TB and were able to leave the Sanatorium and go into the actual town of Cresson.
*Patients that made a full recovery from TB were able to leave the Sanatorium and see their family again. For some it was upsetting to leave because they had made so many friends but most were happy to leave and continue to live their life.
